Community Action Southwark – Social Media on Prezi
Yesterday I gave the above presentation to Community Action Southwark about how charities can use social media. Taking place in the House Cafe and Gallery on Camberwell Church Street, there was a good mix of attendes from different charities based in the area.
Some of the questions were really challenging, whether the technical nature of closed Facebook messages or more conceptual questions about using these platforms in the first place.
Thanks very much to Community Action Southwark for the invite to speak, which came about through the Media Trust. Also enjoyed the presentation from Peckham Voluntary Sector Forum.
One of the things I learned is that Southwark has one of the highest concentrations of voluntary organisations in the entire country!
